Rabat and Amman have officially cemented their judicial partnership, with Morocco and Jordan signing a significant extradition agreement on Friday, August 28, 2026, in the Moroccan capital. This landmark accord aims to bolster their judicial cooperation and fortify existing legal and institutional frameworks between the two nations.

The signing ceremony involved Moroccan Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi and his Jordanian counterpart, Bassam Samir Al-Talhouni. The agreement was finalized following extensive discussions focused on advancing judicial collaboration between the two allied countries.
