Traoré Amidou officially assumed his role as the new director general of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES) on Friday, July 24, 2026, during a handover ceremony led by Yves Konan, the chairman of the board of directors.
He takes over from Noumory Sidibé, who steered the company for nearly five years. The outgoing director general received commendation from the board for his “remarkable contributions” to the sector, as highlighted in an internal communication.
CI-ENERGIES operates as a public entity with the mandate to oversee the expansion and management of electricity infrastructure across Côte d’Ivoire.
