The Olympique Lyonnais (OL) have secured the permanent transfer of Noham Kamara from Paris Saint-Germain, marking a significant reinforcement for the Rhône-based club’s defensive lineup.

From loan to definitive deal

Kamara joined OL on a temporary basis during the winter transfer window, with an option to purchase that has now been exercised. The 19-year-old defender, standing at 1.85 meters, will remain under contract with the Gones until 2030. The transfer fee paid by OL amounts to 4.1 million euros, with an additional 2 million in potential bonuses and a 20% resale interest clause in case of a future sale.

Versatile talent ready for Ligue 1

Born and trained in the Paris region before joining PSG’s youth academy, Kamara is a versatile defender capable of playing in the center or on the right flank. Since his arrival at OL, he has made two appearances in Ligue 1, demonstrating his adaptability and potential.

With this signing, Olympique Lyonnais continues to strengthen its squad for the upcoming seasons while nurturing young talent from top French academies.
