From Lens to London: a career-defining transfer
The 24-year-old talent, who joined Lens just last summer from Rapid Wien, signed a five-year contract with Brentford on Saturday. While the exact transfer fee remains undisclosed, British media outlets estimate the deal at over €45 million, shattering all previous records for Brentford’s recruitment department.

Born in Bamako, the young star was scouted by Red Bull Salzburg after shining at Yeelen Olympique, Bamako’s top academy. He spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Zulte Waregem in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, netting one goal in ten appearances, before making the switch to Austria in 2024/25.
