National excellence contest in OHADA law 2026 in Niamey

Official announcement from the OHADA Club at Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey

The OHADA Club of Abdou Moumouni University in collaboration with the International Committee of the OHADA Genius in the Making Contest (CIGHO) is proud to announce the launch of the National Excellence Contest in OHADA Law 2026.

Open to all third-year Bachelor’s and Master’s students from public and private universities, as well as students from accounting schools, this competition invites legal and economic minds to showcase their expertise in OHADA law—a cornerstone of business law across 17 African member states.

The registration deadline is set for June 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Participants must register as teams of three, with at least one female member per team.

Eligible candidates include:

• Law students (Bachelor’s and Master’s levels)
• Economics students (Bachelor’s and Master’s levels)
• Third-year students from the Justice Section of the National School of Administration

Competition format:

Written exams:

• Multiple-choice questions (MCQ)
• Questions on African integration
• “Who am I?” identification challenge
• Relay-style questions

Oral exam:

• Mock courtroom pleading

Interested candidates should submit their applications to the Communications Officer or the General Secretary of the OHADA Club.
