With summer transfer windows approaching, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is actively scouting Ligue 1 talents to bolster its squad. Among their top targets is Ayyoub Bouaddi, an 18-year-old midfielder whose potential has caught the attention of multiple top-tier clubs. Despite having three years left on his Lille OSC (LOSC) contract, the club could be swayed by a substantial bid—reportedly in the region of €70 million.
LOSC president Olivier Létang has made it clear that while the club aims to retain Bouaddi—who extended his contract until 2029 in December—an ‘extraordinary’ financial offer could change their stance. ‘We’ve had regular discussions with Ayyoub, and our priority is to keep him. However, if a bid with an extraordinary amount comes in, we might consider letting him go. Anything below €50 million? Not enough. The figure would need to be far higher to justify his departure,’ Létang stated.
Competing bids heat up for the Moroccan international
The young midfielder, who has earned three caps for Morocco, has become a hot commodity. According to insider reports, his release clause is set at €70 million, placing PSG in direct competition with Arsenal. The English club has made Bouaddi a priority target to strengthen its midfield and has maintained close contact with the player and his representatives since early 2025.
While Bouaddi has expressed a preference for Paris, he has not dismissed the possibility of a move to London. His openness to discussions with Arsenal suggests the transfer saga is far from over, with PSG needing to act decisively to secure the rising star’s signature.
