The University of Lomé (UL), Togo’s leading higher education institution, welcomes thousands of fresh high school graduates and continuing students annually. For the upcoming academic year, the university has streamlined its enrollment process by introducing digital solutions to simplify registration for all applicants.
Whether you’re a first-time student or returning for another year, here’s how to complete your registration smoothly without unnecessary delays.
What you need before starting
Before logging into the online portal, ensure you have the following ready:
- New high school graduates (LMD 1 applicants): Must present a valid BAC 2 certificate or an equivalent recognized diploma.
- Returning students: Need your Matricule UL (student ID number) and proof of having completed the previous academic year or met progression requirements.
- Valid contact details: An active email address and phone number for account creation and receiving notifications.
- Digital payment options: Access to an active Flooz (T-Money/Moov Money) account or a debit/credit card for paying registration and tuition fees.
Step-by-step online registration process
The entire registration is now handled through the University’s official digital portal. Here’s how to proceed:
-
Create your student account:
Visit the DAAS portal (daas.univ-lome.tg or the RESUP platform) and register by entering your personal details, BAC scores, and preferred academic track (Faculty, School, or Institute).
-
Upload required documents:
Digitally scan and upload the following as PDF or JPG files: national ID, BAC 2 certificate, birth certificate, and a recent passport-sized photo.
-
Pay your fees:
Complete the payment via authorized channels, including partner banks like Ecobank or BTCI/IB Bank, or through integrated mobile payment solutions.
-
Receive administrative approval:
Once your payment is confirmed, the DAAS team reviews your application. You’ll then be able to download your registration clearance from your personal dashboard.
-
Complete medical checkup and collect your student card:
Attend the mandatory medical exam at the University Medical Center (CMUL), then collect your biometric student ID from the designated office.
Documents to keep on hand for final submission
While the pre-registration is entirely digital, you must retain the original or certified copies of these documents for verification during exams or academic checks:
- Certified copy of your birth certificate.
- Certified copy of your Togolese nationality certificate (for nationals) or passport/residence permit (for international students).
- Original or certified copy of your BAC 2 certificate.
- Transcripts from grades 10, 11, and 12.
- Printed registration confirmation from the UL portal.
- Payment receipts (bank or digital).
Pro tip: Stick to the DAAS calendar strictly. Late submissions often face penalties or outright rejection. To avoid last-minute server congestion, begin your registration as soon as the portal opens.
