Ebola Outbreak in DRC Continues to Worsen
The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has claimed over 600 lives since its emergence.
According to the latest data, a total of 1,759 cases have been confirmed in the country, with 20 additional cases and two deaths reported in neighboring Uganda.
The WHO is struggling to determine the true extent of the outbreak due to ongoing transmission and limited access to affected areas.
