On the 66th anniversary of Côte d’Ivoire’s Independence, former parliamentarian Méambly Tié Évariste shared a heartfelt message with his compatriots, particularly those from the Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi regions. In his address, he emphasized that national service extends far beyond political office, calling for continued dedication to the nation’s progress through expertise, knowledge, and commitment.
Reflecting on his decades of public service, Méambly Tié Évariste expressed deep gratitude for the trust placed in him over ten years as a Deputy of the Nation, his role as the first President of the Guémon Regional Council, and his leadership of the parliamentary group Agir pour le Peuple. These experiences, he noted, shaped his lifelong dedication to public service and inspired his ongoing efforts to uplift the country.
In recent years, Méambly Tié Évariste has expanded his horizons beyond politics. Since 2012, he has developed significant economic activities outside Côte d’Ivoire, and since 2020, he has been based in France, where he has established a foundation for his enterprises and international partnerships. His academic journey has been equally impressive, culminating in a doctorate in management sciences, with his thesis defense scheduled for October 2026. Prior to this, he earned two Master’s degrees—one in organization management from Tunisia and another in public policy management from Sciences Po Paris, specializing in African potential.
From political leadership to academic and entrepreneurial excellence
His pursuit of knowledge has been paralleled by a commitment to sharing insights through writing. He has authored two books: Vaincre ou l’art de transformer l’adversité en engagement, which explores resilience and perseverance, and Partenariat public-privé et financement des infrastructures routières en milieu rural, which examines innovative financing models for rural infrastructure development. A third book, set for release in October 2026, will focus on entrepreneurship, real estate, and economic development.
Transitioning to a new chapter
With his academic and professional trajectory nearing a significant milestone, Méambly Tié Évariste has made a deliberate decision to transition from active politics. He clarified that this move is not driven by any opposition but rather represents a new phase in his life—one dedicated to entrepreneurship, knowledge dissemination, investment, and sustainable development. He remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster peace, national cohesion, education, innovation, and youth empowerment.
In his message, he extended heartfelt thanks to the people of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi for their unwavering support. He urged them to uphold the values that define their strength: unity, hard work, solidarity, and brotherhood. As Côte d’Ivoire celebrates its Independence, he called for collective aspirations toward a more united, prosperous, and forward-looking nation.
Méambly Tié Évariste concluded his address with a message of hope and pride, celebrating the diversity and resilience of his native regions and the entire nation. His words echoed a vision of continued progress, driven by the same determination that has guided his journey thus far.
