Extensive diplomatic engagement

In addition to the guest countries of honor, delegations from Burkina Faso and Mali, partners with Niger in the Confederation of Sahel States (AES), are expected. Other participating nations will include Togo, Ghana, Chad, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, India, and Saudi Arabia, underscoring the forum’s broad international appeal.

Four sub-commissions for structured governance

The ad hoc committee comprises experts drawn from various sectoral ministries and professional bodies. It is organized into four specialized sub-commissions, each with a distinct mandate:

  • Scientific

  • Logistics, exhibition, protocol, and security

  • Communication and institutional coordination

The committee’s extensive mission includes defining the event’s organizational strategy, developing the detailed program of activities, identifying bankable projects suitable for presentation to investors, and ensuring the forum’s robust promotion and visibility on both national and international stages.

Repositioning Niger as a prime investment destination

Beyond mere logistical organization, this initiative is deeply embedded within a broader political vision. The authorities of the Refondation are determined to revitalize the national economy and strategically position Niger as a preferred destination for private, regional, and international capital. The “Invest in Niger” forum thus emerges as a crucial diplomatic and economic tool in this ambitious endeavor, especially as several countries in the region actively seek to diversify their economic partnerships.

The newly installed committee now faces the challenge of transforming this ambitious mandate into a successful event, meeting the high expectations set by the government, all within a timeframe of just over four months.
