Ryanair expands winter flights to Morocco with 17 new routes
Ryanair is set to launch its most ambitious winter flight program to Morocco yet, adding 17 new routes including seven departing from Rabat. The expansion will provide over 5.3 million seats across the network.
During the 2026 winter season, Ryanair will operate 156 routes connecting the Kingdom to 14 European countries. Rabat will emerge as the top beneficiary of these additions, closely followed by Marrakech and Agadir, each gaining five new destinations.
Unprecedented growth in Morocco’s air accessibility
While the specific European cities and flight frequencies have yet to be revealed, the announcement underscores the airline’s commitment to strengthening Morocco’s three most prominent tourist hubs. This expansion is expected to significantly enhance the country’s appeal to European travelers.
Twelve airports to benefit from new connections
Beyond Rabat, Marrakech, and Agadir, thirteen Moroccan airports will see increased activity. The new routes will particularly boost access to Fès, Tétouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador, ensuring a more balanced distribution of tourism across the country.
Officials anticipate that these developments will not only elevate the visibility of lesser-known destinations but also encourage more even tourist flows between regions. The winter schedule, featuring 5.3 million seats and 156 routes, represents Ryanair’s largest-ever deployment in Morocco.
