Barely two months prior, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) showcased remarkable solidarity. This unity was evident after the appeals jury of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) made the controversial decision to strip the Lions de la Teranga of their African champion title, reassigning it to Morocco. The governing body, under the leadership of its president, Abdoulaye Fall, had coalesced to pursue an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
