The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met on Thursday in Rabat with Sering Modou Njie, Gambia’s Foreign Minister and Special Envoy of President Adama Barrow. The Gambian official arrived bearing a written message addressed to King Mohammed VI.
Following the discussions, Njie praised the outstanding relationship between Morocco and Gambia. He highlighted the deep-rooted bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation that define ties between Rabat and Banjul.
The Gambian diplomat also emphasized the strength of the partnership between the two nations. He pointed out that their relations are built on shared interests and a mutual commitment to further enhancing this fruitful dynamic.
Njie concluded by reaffirming Gambia’s determination to strengthen bilateral cooperation across multiple areas of mutual benefit.
