RB Leipzig’s sporting director, Marcel Schäfer, dismissed speculation in an interview: « When we have something to announce, we will. Several transfer experts labeled it as ‘done’ or ‘Here we go’ days ago, but that’s not the case. Multiple factors are still in play. The timing isn’t right yet. »
