In a dignified ceremony held on May 19, Amador Sanchez Rico, the newly appointed European Union Ambassador, formally submitted his letters of credence to President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.

This significant diplomatic event took place at the distinguished Palais Toumaï. Fatimé Aldjineh Garfa, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, overseeing African Integration and Chadians Abroad, was present for the occasion. Ambassador Sanchez Rico was accompanied by key members of the European Union delegation in Chad: Sona Jarosova, head of the political section, and Karl Rawert, chief of cooperation.

The presentation of these credentials officially inaugurates the new European Union Ambassador’s three-year diplomatic mission in Chad.
