Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno touched down in N’Djamena late last evening, concluding a significant diplomatic mission to the United Arab Emirates. The two-day visit was marked by intensive discussions with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meetings took place in two distinct settings: first at the UAE’s presidential palace, followed by a second session at the Chadian leader’s residence. The agenda focused on strengthening bilateral ties, exploring new economic opportunities, and deepening security collaboration between the two nations.

Upon landing at N’Djamena International Airport, the Chadian Head of State was greeted by Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, senior government officials, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Presidential Military Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
