The second day of Côte d’Ivoire’s National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group kicked off on July 9, 2026, at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé. The session brought together over 700 investors from friendly nations, uniting key economic players to accelerate the nation’s growth trajectory.

The Prime Minister highlighted the pivotal role of private investment in driving the PND’s implementation. « This gathering marks another milestone in our collective effort to attract the private capital essential for transforming Côte d’Ivoire into a more competitive and job-creating economy. Your presence here underscores the confidence you place in our nation’s economic potential », he stated.

The event served as a high-level platform for dialogue between government officials and the private sector, fostering a shared vision for sustainable development. Mambé emphasized that Côte d’Ivoire’s economic resilience—demonstrated by an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years—positions it as one of Africa’s most dynamic markets.

Key sectors identified for investment include industrialization, local processing of raw materials to boost value addition, infrastructure development (transport, digital, logistics), human capital investment, and innovation-driven services. « These priorities are designed to strengthen our competitiveness, enhance economic attractiveness, and create inclusive opportunities for all », the Prime Minister noted.

The first day of the Consultative Group, focused on institutional partners and development strategy presentations, drew over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire. Speaking on behalf of investors, leaders from the Confédération générale des Entreprises de Côte d’Ivoire (CGECI), MEDEF Afrique, CGEM Morocco, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) reaffirmed their commitment to Côte d’Ivoire’s development vision, pledging substantial financial contributions to the PND 2026-2030.
