The President of the Republic, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena this evening following an official state visit to the United Arab Emirates.
High-level diplomatic engagements in Abu Dhabi
During his official stay, the Chadian Head of State held two key meetings with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The first diplomatic exchange took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second meeting was hosted at the residence of Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.
Warm welcome ceremony in N’Djamena
Upon landing at N’Djamena Hassan II International Airport, the President was greeted by a high-ranking delegation including Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Special Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
