Abidjan, July 9, 2026 — The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, dedicated to investors, kicked off today at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.

The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of this gathering, stating, “Today marks another milestone in our consultative process focused on investment, entrepreneurship, and value creation. Our goal is clear: mobilize private capital to turn our development vision into reality.” He expressed satisfaction at the strong turnout, noting that over 700 international investors from friendly nations are participating in the event.

Addressing a room filled with business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives, the Head of Government emphasized the importance of this forum as a platform for dialogue and alignment on a shared development roadmap. “Your presence here reflects the trust you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic potential and growth trajectory,” he remarked. “As key partners, your investments will be instrumental in building a more competitive, job-creating economy.”

Prime Minister Beugré Mambé underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the driving force behind Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. He reassured investors of the country’s economic resilience, citing an average annual growth rate of 6.5% over recent years amid global volatility. “Côte d’Ivoire stands among Africa’s most vibrant economies, and this momentum continues to strengthen,” he added.

The Premier outlined the sectors poised for accelerated investment under the PND 2026-2030, including industrialization, local raw material processing, infrastructure development, digital transformation, and human capital investment. These initiatives aim to enhance productivity, foster inclusivity, and boost the country’s appeal to global investors.

He also referenced the success of the first day, which attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire, during a session focused on institutional partners and development strategy unveiling.

Representing the investor community, Ahmed Cissé (President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d’Ivoire), Mehdi Tazi (President of the Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises), and Mohamed Gouled (Vice-President of the International Finance Corporation) reaffirmed their confidence in Côte d’Ivoire’s leadership. They pledged substantial financial commitments to support the PND 2026-2030’s implementation.
