As PSG and Arsenal face off in the Champions League final this Saturday at 6pm, Canal+, M6 and L’Équipe are rolling out extensive coverage plans. While Canal+ and M6 hold broadcasting rights, L’Équipe will host a marathon broadcast from 4:45pm to 12:30am.

Canal+’s coverage of the Champions League reaches its peak with Saturday’s final. The channel’s dedicated sports network, Canal+ Foot, will go live at 9am, offering pre-match analysis and live reports from Budapest. A special edition of La Clinique des sports, hosted by Lyes Houhou, will dive into PSG’s physical and mental preparation with sports medicine experts and former defender Alain Roche as a guest star.

By 1pm, Canal+ will launch Canal Bus, a mobile studio cruising the streets of Budapest, capturing the city’s pre-match buzz. The Canal Champions Club team—Hervé Mathoux, Laure Boulleau, David Ginola, Robert Pirès, Christophe Jallet, Bertrand Latour and Gauthier Kuntzmann—will be on board, heading straight to the Puskás Arena. From 4pm, their live broadcast will shift to the stadium’s pitchside, offering fans an up-close look at the pre-match atmosphere.

Live commentary and post-match wrap-up

The final itself, kicking off at 6pm, will be commentated by Paul Tchoukriel and Sidney Govou, with Margot Dumont and Dominique Armand providing pitchside reports and interviews. Following the final whistle, the Canal Champions Club team will take over from the pitch for a post-match analysis. Later in the evening, Late Finale Club, a prime-time special, will feature Nicolas Tourriol alongside football legends Samir Nasri, Aline Riera, Mickaël Landreau and referee Tony Chapron.

M6’s international line-up for the final

As the free-to-air broadcaster, M6 will send a team with extensive World Cup 2026 experience to Budapest. Commentary for PSG vs Arsenal will be provided by Xavier Domergue and Benoît Cheyrou, with Samuel Umtiti joining as a pitchside commentator and Virginie Sainsily handling ground-level reports.

On the pitch, from 5pm and throughout the post-match analysis, presenters Ophélie Meunier and Smaïl Bouabdellah will be joined by football figures Ludovic Giuly, Johan Djourou and an exceptional guest: Luis Fernandez. The former PSG player and manager will contribute despite covering the World Cup for beIN Sports, which holds the pay-TV rights.

L’Équipe’s non-stop football marathon

Without broadcasting rights, L’Équipe will still dedicate its entire afternoon and evening to the final. From 4:45pm to 6pm, Grégory Ascher will host L’Équipe de Greg. The halftime show will be led by Olivier Ménard from 6:45pm to 7pm, followed by L’Équipe du Soir from 7:55pm to 10:30pm.
