The delegation emphasized a threefold approach: preventing child soldier recruitment, shielding young lives from harm, and ensuring lasting reintegration for survivors.
The intervention came during a focused discussion on child soldier protection in Africa, where Morocco’s delegation highlighted the harsh realities facing children in conflict zones. With conflicts persisting across the continent, young people remain disproportionately affected, facing threats ranging from forcible recruitment to brutal violence and interrupted education—each factor chipping away at their prospects for a stable future.
