Morocco is ramping up efforts to secure the necessary funding for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a landmark project developed in collaboration with Nigeria. Rabat is actively pursuing a $26 billion financing package through partnerships with the U.S. Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank, as confirmed by Morocco’s Ambassador to the U.S., Youssef Amrani.
