Senegal’s National Assembly Speaker Engages with African Parliamentary Union Chief

During the 85th session of the African Parliamentary Union’s Executive Committee, Senegal’s National Assembly Speaker, Ousmane Sonko, hosted Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, the Union’s Executive Committee Chair, for a high-level discussion on Thursday, June 4.
Senegal’s Proposals for a Stronger African Parliamentary Union
Sonko outlined a series of proposals aimed at bolstering the African Parliamentary Union’s operational efficiency and impact.
