The Chadian Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, concluded a two-day working visit to N’Djamena on Thursday, where he was received by the country’s Prime Minister, Mr. Allamaye Halina. During the meeting, the Chadian head of government expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in strengthening bilateral cooperation and his influential leadership across the African continent.
Prime Minister Halina highlighted the Algerian leader’s wisdom and vision, emphasizing his pivotal role in advancing African solidarity and integration. He underscored the high esteem Chad holds for Algeria’s unwavering commitment to the continent’s development and shared progress, noting that these efforts are a testament to the strong historical and fraternal ties between the two nations.
In a gesture of solidarity, the Chadian Prime Minister conveyed warm greetings from President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to President Tebboune, reaffirming the deep-rooted bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite the peoples of Algeria and Chad. He also extended fraternal salutations to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, reiterating Chad’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations and expanding avenues of partnership with Algeria.
The Chadian delegation, which included key officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, engaged in productive discussions with their Algerian counterparts. The Algerian delegation, led by Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, also included the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, central ministry officials, and the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Enterprise (Entp), as confirmed by the official statement.
