The head of Chad’s Universal Peace Federation chapter, former Prime Minister Emmanuel Nadingar, held a press briefing today at the organisation’s headquarters in Sabangali, located in N’Djaména’s 3rd arrondissement.
Addressing the nation’s pressing socio-political challenges and global conflicts driven by resource competition, Nadingar issued a strong call for unity and peace. He noted that escalating violence worldwide often pushes communities to retreat inward, deepening divisions rather than fostering collaboration.
On the domestic front, he acknowledged that significant developments have unfolded without elaborating further, yet stressed the urgency of addressing these challenges collectively.
To counter rising tensions, Nadingar urged all citizens to reject sectarianism, isolationism, and violence. He advocated for a transparent and sincere national dialogue, emphasising that only through mutual understanding and collective effort can Chad overcome its obstacles.
«The strength of our nation lies in our unity,» he asserted. «By standing together, we can tackle the crises surrounding us with resilience and determination.»
The Universal Peace Federation, an NGO established in 2005, operates in over 190 countries, promoting peace and interfaith cooperation globally.
