The Parti des 7 Merveilles du Peuple Gabonais (7MP) and the Mouvement Oligui Nguema 100% (MON 100%) gathered on Friday at Cité Damas to present the results of their extensive national tour conducted from June 4 to 25, 2026, across Gabon’s nine provinces. This briefing allowed leaders to share critical insights from the field and outline their future strategies.

Led by Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, the founding president of 7MP and head of MON 100%, the delegation traveled to meet citizens, activists, and local representatives. The primary goal was to listen to public concerns and evaluate the nation’s social and political landscape following the 2025 presidential election.

Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma explained that the journey was also vital for strengthening the internal structure of both organizations. “Since June 4, 2026, 7MP and MON 100% have combined their efforts to maintain the momentum established since February 8, 2025,” he noted.

Throughout the various stops, discussions centered on pressing issues such as youth unemployment, access to clean drinking water, the condition of the road network, healthcare, education, and the rising cost of living. “We went directly to our fellow citizens to hear them and assess the realities on the ground,” stated Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma.

The leadership also confirmed a successful restructuring of provincial coordinations, an update of membership records, and the recruitment of new supporters. “This mission enabled us to designate new local leaders, solidify the presence of MON 100% in all nine provinces, and collect 1,000 new membership forms,” the movement’s president added.

Several political figures attended the press conference, including Angélique Ngoma, the Secretary General of the Parti démocratique gabonais (PDG), and Gervais Oniane, the president of the Union pour la République (UPR).

During his remarks, Gervais Oniane urged political parties to prioritize dialogue and cooperation. “It is essential for political organizations to work together in a spirit of unity and responsibility to support the major transformations occurring in our country,” he declared.

To conclude the session, the leaders of 7MP and MON 100% proposed the establishment of a consultation platform for political parties that support the initiatives of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. This framework is intended to streamline coordination and communication between different political groups.
