In a ceremony attended by distinguished figures from the scientific, cultural, and diplomatic spheres, Brayan Yebga Miyogog was officially presented with the African Student Excellence Prize (PEEA) on June 27, 2026, in Paris, France. This prestigious award, overseen by Géraude Akakpo, celebrates the exceptional academic journey, resilience, and ethical leadership of young African talents making an impact globally.
A former student of the African Institute of Computer Science (IAI-Cameroon) at the Paul Biya Technological Excellence Center, Miyogog’s achievement highlights the high standards of software engineering training provided by the institution. Under the leadership of Resident Representative Armand Claude Abanda—who also holds the UNESCO Chair for ICT Access in Central Africa—the institute continues to produce world-class professionals.

A silver award for academic and professional dedication
By securing the Silver Prize, which honors the commitment and brilliance of students within the African diaspora and on the continent, Miyogog has brought international acclaim to the expertise of IAI-Cameroon. The laureate credited his success to the rigorous discipline and perseverance instilled in him during his time at the Paul Biya Technological Excellence Center.
During the event, the young professional expressed his pride in representing his alma mater. He noted that the quality of education he received was fundamental to his current status as a model of success, promising to continue flying the flag of the institution in high-level international circles.
A rising star in the digital sector
This recognition follows another significant milestone for Miyogog. Just weeks prior, the AgriGuardian platform, of which he is a key developer, won the “TechforTech Audience Prize” at the Petit Poucet 2026 competition.
