In a symbolic gesture, the Kingdom of Morocco’s Ambassador to Niger, accompanied by the Nigerien Minister of Foreign Affairs, officially launched the ceremony commemorating the 27th anniversary of the Throne Day. This solemn occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on the significant accomplishments achieved by the Kingdom under the reign of King Mohammed VI.
Ambassador Mohammed Iboumraten, Morocco’s envoy in Niamey, underscored the profound transformations Morocco has undergone. He stated that the nation has fundamentally reshaped its infrastructure, industrial landscape, geopolitical position, and social welfare systems. The ambassador particularly highlighted how sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energies have critically altered the country’s productive framework.
This celebration also served to emphasize the outstanding friendship and cooperative spirit between Morocco and Niger. These historical bonds have consistently grown stronger over the years, bolstered by partnerships in various sectors of shared interest.
The ambassador further elaborated, explaining that the cooperation between Morocco and Niger is built upon deep historical roots, strong solidarity, and a mutual desire to enhance bilateral relations across political, economic, security, cultural, and spiritual spheres. He noted that King Mohammed VI’s personal commitment to Niger has been demonstrated through two royal visits and a steadfast dedication to fostering a balanced and mutually beneficial partnership.
