Niger security alert: boko haram strike leaves soldiers dead near n’guigmi

A fresh wave of violence has struck Niger, as a Boko Haram assault on a military outpost near N’Guigmi claimed the lives of nearly a dozen soldiers. The attack, which unfolded on Friday, has sent shockwaves through the region, already grappling with persistent security challenges.
