In a move to reinforce quality standards in Chad’s automotive sector, Zone Auto has been appointed as an authorized dealer for TotalEnergies lubricants through a landmark partnership with Star Oil Tchad. The collaboration was sealed during a ceremony held at the Al Mahri Group headquarters in N’Djamena’s 4th arrondissement, attended by key representatives from both companies.
Zone Auto’s founder, Mr. Annadif Alfattah, emphasized that the partnership represents far more than a commercial transaction. “Our mission is to deliver reliable, high-quality automotive products that meet the strictest international benchmarks,” he stated. He highlighted the growing concern over counterfeit lubricants in the market, stressing the need for traceable, certified products to protect vehicle engines and build consumer trust.
According to Mr. Alfattah, becoming an official distributor of TotalEnergies lubricants is a significant milestone for Zone Auto. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to excellence and positions us as a trusted partner for Chadian motorists,” he added. The ceremony also served as a platform for Star Oil Tchad’s Managing Director, Mr. Sérigne Momar Dieye, to reaffirm the company’s exclusive rights as the sole authorized distributor of TotalEnergies lubricants in Chad. “Our responsibility is twofold: to guarantee the origin, authenticity, and traceability of every product we distribute, and to ensure they reach customers through a controlled, reliable supply chain,” he explained.
Mr. Dieye pointed out that Zone Auto’s integration into the official distribution network will enhance product availability for drivers, motorcyclists, transport professionals, and businesses. “By aligning with certified dealers like Zone Auto, we are combating the risks posed by counterfeit oils and unregulated markets,” he noted. The partnership also includes technical and commercial support from Star Oil Tchad to ensure seamless operations.
