The Tchad Ministry of Public Security and Immigration hosted representatives from Turkey‘s IF Elektronik Ltd on May 14, 2026 to explore collaborative solutions in digital security infrastructure. Discussions centered on countering mobile device smuggling, enhancing cybersecurity frameworks, and unlocking job opportunities for young professionals in the security technology sector.
Benguela Guidjinga, the ministry’s Secretary-General, highlighted the transformative potential of these technologies, particularly in mobile device regulation and border protection systems. This tech-for-security partnership is viewed as a catalyst for knowledge exchange and economic growth, positioning Chad at the forefront of Africa’s digital security transformation.
