Minister Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè recently met with technical experts to discuss innovative ways to protect official transport documents and administrative paperwork.
The Ministry of Transport is actively seeking to modernize and secure its administrative processes. In a recent working session held on June 30, 2026, Minister Jean Ernest Masséna Ngallè Bibéhè hosted Oyono Bika Pierre, the Director General of the National Printing Office, and Léonie Kwekam, the Director General of Impact Palmarès R&D.
During the meeting, the firm Impact Palmarès R&D presented a sophisticated technical solution. This system leverages several high-tech breakthroughs designed to shield official documents from illegal duplication. The proposed framework aims to make these records extremely difficult to forge while streamlining the authentication process for relevant agencies.
The talks focused on several critical areas, including the protection of transport titles, the implementation of secure watermarks on official stationery, and the enhancement of document traceability. Additionally, these technological upgrades are expected to help the government optimize non-tax revenue streams through better monitoring and oversight.
While acknowledging the potential of the presented solutions, the Minister of Transport insisted on a comprehensive evaluation. He noted that further technical, legal, administrative, and financial assessments are required before moving forward with any implementation. This reform is ultimately geared toward reinforcing the integrity and safety of all official state documents in Cameroun.
