Expert denounces looters of public funds and political opportunists

In a powerful statement, political analyst Jean Paul Ntsengue has highlighted a disturbing trend: the deliberate impoverishment of the youth to make them more susceptible to manipulation. He specifically targets those he describes as irresponsible looters of public wealth and politicians with unchecked ambitions.

Poverty as a systemic weapon

According to Ntsengue, the current economic hardship is not accidental but orchestrated by “clientelists” and “conspirators.” These actors have allegedly fostered conditions that deepen the misery of citizens, pushing crowds of hungry young people into the streets. These vulnerable individuals are then sold false promises in exchange for fanatical loyalty, especially across social media networks.

The analyst further asserts that these figures have blocked the path of capable leaders who could have supported President Paul Biya. Instead, they have promoted mediocre individuals who serve their specific interests rather than the national good.

A call for national stability

“Poverty is a fatal danger to the Republic,” Ntsengue warns, noting that those seeking power at any cost are well aware of this vulnerability. However, he maintains that such “spasmodic movements” will not be enough to heal the deep wounds of the nation, as “everything eventually comes to an end.”

Ntsengue reminds the public of President Paul Biya’s commitment to leaving a legacy of democracy and prosperity for the people of Cameroon. Describing the President as a leader chosen by providence, the analyst calls for unwavering support during what he calls this “second half without extra time,” urging the nation to help the Head of State conclude his mission honorably.
