It presents an evaluation of the nation’s adherence to recommendations from its last UPR cycle. The assessment zeroes in on significant concerns, including arbitrary detentions, unlawful arrests, the situation for human rights defenders, and the state of press freedom.
Additionally, the document examines the national framework for human rights as it pertains to the fundamental right to freedom of expression and the liberty of the press.
