On Monday, July 6, Jordan unequivocally condemned the terrorist plots recently thwarted in Morocco, affirming its complete and steadfast support for the Kingdom in its ongoing efforts to defend its security, sovereignty, and stability.

In an official statement from the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Amman denounced these dangerous schemes, which were designed to severely undermine public order and endanger the safety of both individuals and property within Morocco.

Ambassador Fouad Majali, the official spokesperson for the ministry, reiterated Jordan’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco. He further emphasized Amman’s endorsement of all measures taken by Rabat to protect its citizens, safeguard its national security, and ensure its stability.

This strong declaration follows the announcement by Morocco’s Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) regarding the successful neutralization of extremely perilous terrorist plots that had reached an advanced stage of preparation.

Based on precise intelligence insights provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), simultaneous operations were carried out, leading to the apprehension of radicalized individuals across several Moroccan cities.

According to initial details released, these suspects were reportedly operating with logistical coordination and operational backing from a Daech affiliate active in the Sahel region.
